First and foremost, thank you for your support with this project.

Originally I started this project as a way to generate some extra funding for Heavenly Peaks. People seem to enjoy it so I'll continue with it.

Along with this, there are a few changes to how I'll handle things. First, I made a separate Patreon page from Heavenly Peaks. The reason for that is a TOP SECRET benefit to Patrons of HPC, I won't talk about it too much , I want the Patrons who support Heavenly Peaks to experience it first.  Once that thing happens, I think that page will be a little too crowded. So this project will need a home of it's own. (Same discord, for now).

Those Golden Days Patreon Page

Secondly, it's time to talk about my plans for Those Golden Days. I am a complex person who sometimes over thinks and makes others needlessly complicated. This is an inherited trait that I'm well aware of, it pervades every facet of my life and I'm working to curb it.  The way to do that is to simplify everything, to the point of "dumbing down". Normally, this is something I shy away from with my work, but it has it's benefits.

One of those benefits is that, compared to Heavenly Peaks, I do roughly 6-10x less work to produce content for TGD. With HPC, things can often take weeks and in the past, months due to writing code and play testing. TGD takes significantly less time. Another benefit is I have more freedom to explore with TGD. At it's core, the game is about a young man exploring his sexuality ; in particular the things he likes and dislikes.

I've already determined the lore of the game, why Raiya is on the island and what will happen in the conclusion of the story. All points between then are open to be explored and full of possibility.

Moving forward, there will be a mechanic in the game where you can choose to explore kinks. You'll get an introductory event and then you'll have the option to further explore that kink - or not.

This will influence the type of content you see as you play, but it won't affect main stories of characters you interact with.

So far, it looks a bit like this:

This is also the main reason there are no heavy sex scenes in the game yet (lots of stimulating content, though ^_^ ).  It also explains why certain characters haven't been explored  - like for example Mercy.

Basically, the game will tailor some of its content to your liking, and if you decide to explore some other things later... you're free to do so.

In summary:

The game will remain available on itch indefinitely, and just a reminder but unlike HPC, this game requires a purchase with each release. The public version will always be 1 or more versions behind (as I may do multiple releases in a single month with this title at times), so it's something to bare in mind.
