Once a player has trained up to the Supreme Seed in their current Rank, they may find their talent limit has been exhausted.

Talent Limit is a stat that represents how many times a cultivator can improve their stats during Inner Cultivation. For example, if your Talent Limit is 0/10, then it means you can improve any stats you like 10 more times.

Doing this will move you up the Seed ladder from Lesser to Supreme. Once the player has reached Supreme Seed they will need to breakthrough to the next Rank in order to continue their growth.

Each breakthrough has requirements which will need to be fulfilled in order to advance to the next rank. In addition, while many times the requirements may be explained or hinted at, some are hidden completely.

When this happens there are various ways of uncovering the requirements for breakthrough. The Inner Realm, where deep cultivation takes place, is multi layered. The deeper you delve the more will be revealed about Bai Huan as well as the means to grow even stronger.

Once a breakthrough is experienced the Talent Limit maximum will increase, the amount of talent used will reset to 0 and the player will gain a powerful boost at having broken through to the next Rank. This is especially potent when the player is transitioning between Realms.
