This assumes I enabled cheats on Steam (not sure why I wouldn't, but I am fairly sure it's there).

I'm sure there are others, but I don't know of any at current. I'm currently looking into fixing this problem though.

The apk won't run due to security settings for Android. You will need a 3rd party program to run it, or you'd have to play via PC or Mac.

Or you can turn on developer mode on your android device, in my opinion this is better because you can play around with a lot of new features and don’t need a shitty 3rd party app.

if you are on phone/tablet you must go into settings and find the (Build Number) if you have trouble google it. then just tap your build number 5-10 times or until it says dev mode is on.

for ChromeBook it is a little bit more complicated so I’m sure you can find a YT vid about it.

I have the same problem...from what I read it is because the .apk is over 2GB and almost every android device has upper limit for installing .apk set as 2GB...from what I heard some devices have not this problem, but it could be that the manufacturer of the divice got rid of this limitation (but I might be wrong in this assumption)

My apologies, just saw this. Stripe is the only other payment processor I use, because Paypal does some shady business. XD

Most of those issues are related to a public version that hasn't been updated for a bit - for example out of order events. Those events are fixed now (project wise - they have been for months ) but typically occurred when players didn't progress with their breakthrough beyond a certain date.
As far as requirements for breakthroughs,  eventually you come to learn the specifics of what's required for each - but the early ranks simply require you to have enough qi and then to convert it (via the meditation screen).

If you have any questions about other aspects of the game, you can view the in game help menu. It explains info about the game's various aspects.

I've been keeping late nights,  so sorry for the late response.
You need to have 1,300 converted qi - then use the option to Convert Gathered Qi again.
This will trigger your breakthrough. In later versions, it will be fixed so that the button shows "Breakthrough" instead, but for now that's how you trigger each Breakthrough.

It's a bit difficult to improve the forest's level in the current public version, but basically just gather, do battles and raise the environment's level by feeding qi into it.

Ren'py packages the files , the bulk of file size comes from visual assets. The only real way to lower the file size at this point is to decrease the # of images placed into the game. I've already condensed them as much as possible without sacrificing  visuals. There's not much I can do at this point and the game will only grow in size with development as well.

All Patrons get access to the game, just at different times - you can check out the Patron benefits to learn more. If you're thinking to sign up to the cheapest version of being a Patron to get the full game, you *could* do that but it's also kind of pointless in some aspects. 

If you acquire the game on itch.io, it's a single time purchase for all updates in the future - therefore it makes more sense to purchase here if you only want to pay once. Especially since, with each new release, the price on itch.io increases a bit.

The Patron page has more benefits associated with it, such as weekly giveaways, patron exclusive giveaways and some other things as well - none of which you're eligible for with the lowest tier, short of playing.

Hello, to answer your question - nothing's changed with how I release content for this game.
I've always updated the public version after new content comes out and it's always been 2 versions behind. The difference is that in the past, I'd sometimes release public versions of the game early.

There's always been an option for people who want to support the project. I don't plan on changing that as the people who *do* support the game are directly responsible for more content creation. Without them there would be no Heavenly Peaks.

She'll reveal the requirements.
As far as development having been at that point more than a year ago - that's not possible. 2.0.8 was released a couple of months ago.
