HPC News + Endless Eden Release

Hello fellow immortals!

I'll try to keep this brief! First, Endless Eden aka "casual cultivation simulator" has recently been released (Version 2). You can also check out a demo of the game at no cost. If you wish to check it out, you can do that here: Play Endless Eden

Now onto HPC news. I'm toying with the idea of doing smaller updates every 2-3 weeks for the remainder of the year. This hinges on several things, mainly- my health.  As such, I'm not committing to anything (no dates, nothing!). I realize that can be offputting to those waiting on the game but - it's just the way things are for now.

That doesn't mean I'm not working though.  I feel like I've been more productive - despite actually taking far more breaks, for example I did release Those Golden Days version 8 and Endless Eden in the past 15 days. I'm also nearly done with Version 9 of Those Golden Days - commitments to supporters of the project. It's taking longer - but it *is* getting done. I mention that because the same applies to HPC.

Behind the scenes, I've been working on various things, with a goal of presenting as much gameplay content as possible when I do drop version 3. I also want to improve the look and polish of the project as well, now that I'm mostly done with all the programming aspects. I've been tinkering with some item / material visuals lately. What do you think?

These are taken from Endless Eden, and represent the look of materials and items in HPC moving forward.

As for visuals of the actual game - I'll reserve those for later.  I've still got a lot to do and I aim to release the game as soon as humanly practical.
In the meantime, if you're bored I recommend checking out Those Golden Days or Endless Eden. You can play both for free and both have contributed to HPC's development in many ways. They are also available to play *now*.

What happened to "September, early October at the latest"? Not to mention how big it was supposed to be.  Now it's two, maybe three "small" updates (no commitments whatsoever)? Your health is poor, but your other two (monetized) projects get updates for tech and content regularly? I predict this thought-provoking question will be removed within moments...

Nothing happened to it. Plans changed and I started prioritizing myself - something I should have been doing from the start.

So, if I've got this right - you're upset  that I am:

A) Still working, despite my health condition. (Always worked on multiple games at once since the beginning. Not sure why everyone keeps bringing it up now.  If anything, that should show you just how productive my normal work schedule used to be.)
B) Showing clear signs of progress and keeping commitments with my patrons.
C) Diligently working while prioritizing myself in order to accommodate those I have commitments to.

Is that correct?
