Hello sect members,

There are some  who can't  get JoiPlay to work properly (and can't ? or won't? use PC to play), thus ruining your experience of HPC.  While Ren'py's mobile support has gotten better over the years, it puzzles me why the program  does not allow devs to sign apk packages - after all Ren'py generates keys for you. I'm sure there's some (obscure) reason behind it, but it is an incredible inconvenience to both players and developers at this point.

Rather than deal with numerous complaints of "Android isn't working properly" I've decided to disable android downloads / support for the time being. At least until the next release, which you can learn about here  -first read this post. 

There is not only a fix for this issue but also QOL updates.

For context, the apk fix "should" be done sometime next week - assuming that I  finish up with all of my immediate tasks first. Then I also need to scramble up the remaining money to tend to my medical needs.  All further mentions / comments of Android and apk issues will be referred to this post to save myself a bit of time.
